About Us

Quality Education
for Southwest Florida Preschoolers

Our mission at Palm Preschool is to provide quality education and childcare to each and every child we serve.

Our childcare philosophy is based on the belief that children learn best when exposed to a challenging environment that offers a variety of meaningful hands-on activities and experiences. We believe that preschool children should be allowed to explore their surroundings in order to develop a good sense of problem solving and decision making. The preschool curriculum, not to mention the arrangement of furniture and space, all reflect the interests and needs of the children enrolled in our Naples childcare center. It is of utmost importance that we meet the basic needs of children such as: safety, nourishment and rest in order to ensure that they achieve the proper levels of development.

We take pride in our ability to develop our children’s creativity. At the same time, we are mindful and respectful of their emotional needs and are here to support and facilitate their social development by providing opportunities for children to build positive self-esteem. We welcome and respect the diversity of cultures and encourage every member of our preschool to share their culture with us. As facilitators of children’s development, we foster their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development for lifelong learning.

Our Staff

At Palm Preschool, we strive to create a working environment centered on excellence and camaraderie, and we believe that each teacher’s performance has a profound effect on our success and that of our students. All our staff are fingerprinted and CPR certified. It is a requirement that all our teachers have their DCF 45 hours and have previous experience in a preschool setting. Our staff’s mission is to maintain a warm, nurturing environment, while executing their training in the development of young children.

A Naples, FL native, I love my hometown! I graduated from Naples High and received my bachelor’s in Psychology with a focus on youth and family from the University of Florida. I have 12 years of childcare experience and have never held a job that did not include children. In college, I enjoyed volunteering at the shelter for women and children and my senior year was given the opportunity to move to Washington, DC to intern at a shelter there. Upon graduating, I moved home to Naples and worked as a lead Pre-K4 teacher at a local preschool. I so enjoyed the experience that I knew that opening my own facility would be a goal worth pursuing. I am so excited to have Natasha as our director, and know that she is a strong asset to the success of our school.

I was born and raised in Naples FL. I have over 10 years of experience in the preschool setting, and over 15 years of child-care experience. From a young age, I have always had a passion for working with young children. Starting at the age of 12, you could always find me babysitting in my free time. I graduated from Naples High school and continued my education in Gainesville, Florida. There I worked at a preschool as a lead 3-year-old teacher and later moved on to the administrative side. After college, I moved back to Naples and continued to work in childcare. I love working with children for so many reasons but my favorite is how excited they get when learning and accomplishing news things! In my spare time I love to spend time with my two children, while also coaching high school volleyball.

Our Classes

The Palm Preschool uses the Creative Curriculum where children are immersed in learning through purposeful play-based experiences on topics they’re familiar with from their everyday lives. Children find opportunities for rigorous skill development like counting, measurement and language comprehension while also developing positive relationships, gross-motor skills and problem-solving abilities at every age level.
